David M. Moening focuses his practice on estate planning, wills and trusts, probate and trust administration, and related planning matters for individuals, families, and closely held business owners. David regularly assists clients with revocable trusts, special needs trusts, powers of attorney, living will directives, beneficiary designations, trust amendments, retirement account planning, charitable gifts, elder law and Medicaid-related planning, and succession planning for family-owned businesses. He also advises clients on business planning, formation, and related ownership transition issues. With a practical, client-centered perspective shaped by more than a decade of prior solo practice experience, David helps clients evaluate planning options designed to avoid unnecessary probate, preserve wealth, address tax and administrative considerations, and ensure that personal wishes and family values are carried out.

David resides in Northern Kentucky with his wife, their four children, and their beloved Bernedoodle, Kona. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching and coaching a wide variety of sports, and, most of all, traveling. He has visited 44 states, 24 national parks, and 15 foreign countries, and hopes to visit all 50 states and eventually explore French Polynesia.
